To continue our tour of vegan eating in Polperro let me tell you about Munchies. Munchies is a burger and fast food stand right in the middle of town. And you know it’s good because you see builders hanging out there.

Munchies takes good care of vegans (and non-vegans, according to my Dad) with three vegan burger options. Pulled pork, a lentil and quinoa burger (Fry’s brand) and the Indian spiced burger. Indian spiced for me.

The Indian spiced burger was mildly spiced, not at all lacking in flavour. After saying yes to salad it was stuffed full of lovely lettuce and a giant slice of tomato. No sad iceberg here. I was really impressed by both the selection and the execution here. it’s simple food, done well, with great vegan options.
