Hello from sunny Cornwall. We’re about to leave the small coastal town of Polperro where we’ve spent the last week enjoying sunshine, walkies and naps. This is our fourth trip but our first time as vegans so we’re enjoying seeing one of our favourite places in a new light.

We’ve really fallen for cute coffee shop Coffee Cake Create which has non-dairy milks for all your hot drink needs. Inside is nautical themed with some great seaside art that you can take home with you. Lacking the cash for a bigger piece, I grabbed a few cute buttons. They also have workshops so you can create something yourself.

What we really loved though was the cake. Vegans have two options but the toasted chocolate banana bread is the one for us. With melted chocolate chips and maple syrup drizzled on top. Love it.
